Register Now for the 40-Year Reunion

Reunion DecorationsAhoy, Mateys. Our 40-Year Reunion is just a little over 2 months away. Your trusty Reunion Committee has been hard at work behind-the-scenes fussing with the myriad details to make it all happen. The Reunion will be casual, easy, welcoming and a whole lot of fun with longtime friends. You’re gonna wanna be there… really!

Registration

We’ve got the Registration page up and running, so click on over, say “Yes!”, send in your money and mark your calendar. We’ll see you there.

Still-Missing Classmates

There are still quite a few classmates that we can’t find. We’ve got old snail mail addresses, wrong email addresses, or nothing at all. We’re trying to make sure that everyone knows about the reunion, so if you know the whereabouts of some of these folks, please let us know -OR- give our class email address to the classmate that’s listed as missing and have them get in touch, pretty please.

Yum! Reunion Dinner Taste-Tested and Approved

Yum! Reunion Dinner Taste-Tested and Approved

Mmm, yum. Several members of your trusty Reunion Committee met today on this sunny afternoon and taste-tested the menu items for the 40-Year Reunion’s Saturday evening event. We wanted to lick the plate it was all so delicious!

In choosing a caterer, we wanted someone that could deliver tasty, freshly-prepared, healthful food.

We opted for the Mediterranean Selection from Lavish Roots, a local catering company. (While we were there, we talked to owners Carly and Brandon, and heard about her Dad and cousins, HHS grads.)

Oldies

Oldies

Walking down memory lane, I selected “Out in the Country” by Three Dog Night. My music collection then yielded “Mama Told Me Not to Come”.

Well, your mama surely wouldn’t say that about our 40-Year Reunion! She would tell you to put the reunion on your calendar and get on down to the Cove to see your long-time* friends again.

*(Some time ago I stopped saying “old friends” ’cause it just seemed to hit a little too close to home.    : )   We’re not “old”… right?!)

Favorite music? What’s that quintessential song from our HHS days that you’ve just gotta hear at our reunion, 40 YEARS LATER.

  • That song that was playing when you _________ ?
  • The music that played when you danced with _________ ?
  • What music makes you think of the first time you kissed _________ ?
  • Or the time you and a bunch of friends got together to celebrate _________ ?
  • What’s that piece that wraps the whole lump of your high school years into one ball?

We’re compiling a Reunion Playlist. What’s on YOUR list?
Send us your thoughts… and we’ll see you then.

Ahoy Mateys,
Maureen
